Erin Stucky
Erin Stucky, President KVC Behavioral HealthCare Kansas, joined KVC as a case manager immediately after earning her bachelor’s in social work, and 13 years later, after continual development and experience at every level, has risen to this top leadership position. Ms. Stucky’s journey at KVC has included promotions from case manager to supervisor in 2001 and then to regional director in 2005 before being appointed President in January 2008. She is a product of the kind of leadership cultivation in which KVC takes great pride.
As President, Ms. Stucky is responsible for overseeing all family reunification, foster care and adoption services to children and families as well as the foster home care services. She also manages overall contract operations and serves as the liaison between KVC and the state of Kansas as well as with various community agencies.
In her current position, she relies on the experience she gained in her early days with KVC, just after Kansas became the first state to privatize child welfare services in 1996. She learned from the ground up as the process unfolded and as both KVC and the state continually raised the bar in service outcomes and delivery.
Ms. Stucky has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare, the same university where she earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in social work.
