State Contract Services: Child Welfare and Behavioral Health
As some states began to privatize child welfare systems, they started contracting with private agencies for the care of children in state custody. KVC serves as a contractor for these children who have been removed from their families due to abuse or neglect. When the children enter state custody, they are referred to us. KVC then provides case management and related services. We are a provider of child welfare contract services in Kansas, where we originated, and are proud to offer one of the most extensive arrays of health services of any private foster care provider in the nation.
