National Adoption Day
KVC Nebraska plans to celebrate National Adoption Day 2011 with KVC children and Forever Families who choose this special day to finalize adoptions.
Since July 2005, KVC has helped facilitate more than 1,300 adoptions. Dozens of KVC Kansas children were adopted and joined their Forever Families on National Adoption Day 2009. Many families choose this specific day to finalize adoptions to bring special attention to the need for more adoptive homes across the country.
Celebrations in courthouses in Nebraska took place on November 19, 2011.
