Foster Parent Training
Making the choice to become foster parents takes a lot of concentrated thought and preparation. That is why it is crucial for prospective foster parents to receive proper training to learn more about the process and confirm their ability to care for these children in need.
In Nebraska, we offer two types of educational training for parents. Initial training (PS-MAPP) is required for all prospective foster or adoptive parents. Once licensed as a foster parent, you are required to participate in ongoing trainings.
