The Resource Family Conference will take place at the Double Tree Hotel in Omaha. Each year, KVC dedicates an enriching weekend to its foster, birth and adoptive parents by completely underwriting this fun and educational experience.  The Resource Family Conference provides hundreds of parents and children with a series of events, inspiring speakers and parental networking opportunities. Through their attendance, parents obtain training hours that help them meet state licensing requirements and learn tools to deal with their unique situations.

The educational component of the conference begins on Friday afternoon with workshops. Friday night, families will be treated to entertainment, dinner and complimentary hotel rooms.

Saturday begins when nationally known speakers address current issues facing the foster care system.  Parents will be able to participate in numerous presentations and workshops, children enjoy fun activities.
