SUMMARY:National Adoption Day 2022
DESCRIPTION:Every year\, on the Saturday before Thanksgiving\, judges across America open their courthouses to finalize the adoptions of children in foster care into loving families. They do this to celebrate National Adoption Day and call attention to the more than 100\,000 children and young people who are waiting for adoptive families. Every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a safe\, loving family! \nKVC provides foster care services in Kansas\, Missouri\, Nebraska and West Virginia. While the first goal of foster care is always a safe family reunification\, adoption becomes the next goal when that reunification is not possible. \nWe’ll be hosting special events for families and the media all during National Adoption Month. Come back soon for details on our events! In the meantime\, meet Kansas children needing adoptive families on the KVC Adoption website. You can also find children needing adoptive families nationwide on the Adopt U.S. Kids website.
