Overview

KVC Health Systems makes a positive difference in the lives of over 70,000 people each year. By providing medical and behavioral healthcare, social services and education, we are enriching and enhancing the lives of children and families.

Our services include:

In-Home Family Support

Our licensed clinicians help resolve challenges and deliver services right in families’ homes so that children can remain safely in their homes and with their families rather than entering foster care.

Mental and Behavioral Health

We provide compassionate mental and behavioral treatment to children, teens and adults experiencing a range of mental health and psychiatric disorders, as well as those dealing with the effects of traumatic stress.

Foster Care

In the U.S., over 400,000 children are foster care. KVC recruits, trains and supports relative, non-related kin and foster families to love and support over 7,000 children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or other challenges.

Adoption

More than 100,000 U.S. children in foster care cannot be safely reunited with their birth families and have no one else to care for them. KVC has helped match more than 5,000 children in foster care with forever families since 2005.

Children’s Mental Health Hospitals

We provide trauma-informed children’s residential mental health treatment and inpatient children’s mental health treatment at our hospitals.

State Contracts

We work on behalf of state child welfare agencies to provide case management and direct services to children and families.

Consulting

Sharing best practices and models of success with other child welfare and behavioral healthcare organizations is part of our mission, both in the U.S. and internationally.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
