Ethics: Confidentiality & Caregiver Communication Webinar
April 12, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

While most child- and family-serving professions are aligned with a code of conduct and/or laws outlining expectations for confidentiality and privacy, it can be challenging to navigate what to share with a caregiver when working with minors. In this training, we will discuss the overarching guidelines and expectations in a variety of settings related to client and student confidentiality and discuss specific ethical dilemmas professionals in these settings may face. This training will include opportunities for attendee participation in discussions related to ethical considerations when determining what is shared with caregivers.
Presenters: Alexandra Beineman, LMSW, Janny Sivilay, LSCSW; and Cheryl Marquardt, General Counsel
