Webinar 2 – Anxiety: Diagnosis, Care and Treatment

There has been an uptick in the diagnosis of anxiety-related disorders in children and teens in recent years. This has led to the need for more creative and innovative ways to engage with and treat youth while cultivating an environment of safety that allows them to work through fears and establish healing spaces. In this training, we will share insights and techniques from our experiences providing care to youth who are struggling with anxiety related to trauma exposure and identify treatment strategies we have found successful.

In this training, you will learn:

• How to define and understand anxiety diagnosis in youth, including symptoms
• Treatment approaches for children and teens, including the use of psychiatric medications
• How these treatment interventions and tools have been helpful in clinical care in a case study
