KVC Health Systems’ 2022 Annual Celebration

October 20, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join us for KVC’s 2022 Annual Celebration! The event will be hybrid, taking place in person at KVC’s Ball Event Center in Olathe, KS or you can join online from anywhere. It takes place from 4-5pm Central (5-6pm Eastern) and is followed by a reception.

KVC's 2016 Annual Celebration with President and CEO Jason Hooper speakingWhy celebrate? Every October, KVC Health Systems hosts this event to share and celebrate the positive difference your generous support has made in people’s lives. You’ll hear from KVC’s President and CEO Jason Hooper, learn how many children and adults we helped over the last year, hear inspiring stories from people whose lives have been changed by KVC, and watch as we recognize our wonderful values-driven partners and heroes with awards.

Who’s invited? This event is for everyone who cares about strengthening families, preventing child abuse and neglect, and helping both children and adults achieve mental health wellness. That includes supporters, partner organizations, kinship families, resource families, clients, and team members.

2022 KVC Hero Award Recipients

The Murphy Family (Overland Park, KS)

Robb Murphy has always been very compassionate about helping kids. In 1993, he brought his son Austin, a kindergartener at the time, to visit KVC. Austin brought a gift and wrote a letter for a child in our care. This became an annual tradition that has grown over the past 30 years and included siblings; Sage, Hunter and Gus. While their father supports all charities anonymously, the Murphy Family is allowing us to share their story, which we hope will inspire other families to create a culture of philanthropy starting at home. Click on the image below to learn more about how the Murphy family got involved with KVC.
