FREE Webinar: Boundaries in Practice: Building Clear and Consistent Limits

Healthy Boundaries That Support Youth Behavior and Development
Healthy boundaries play a critical role in supporting children’s and adolescents’ behavior, relationships, and overall wellbeing. When expectations are unclear or inconsistent, youth often respond with escalated behavior, confusion, or withdrawal.
This session provides a clinically informed yet accessible overview of boundaries and their role in supporting healthy youth functioning. Participants will explore different types of boundaries and their practical relevance, along with evidence-informed strategies for teaching and upholding boundaries across developmental stages, cultural contexts, and care settings.
What you’ll learn:
- Different types of boundaries and their functions
- How unclear or inconsistent limits show up in youth behavior and relationships
- Why boundary testing is developmentally expected
- Practical strategies for teaching boundaries in age- and context-appropriate ways
- How consistent expectations support trust, independence, and wellbeing over time
