FREE Webinar: Resilient Minds: Building the Capacity to Adapt and Grow

Understanding Resilience in Children and Adolescents Through Behavior
Resilience is often described as toughness or the ability to “push through.” In reality, resilience is a set of skills that develops over time and looks different for every child and adolescent.
This webinar explores what resilience actually is, how it shows up in youth behavior, and why difficulty adapting to stress or change is often a skill gap rather than a behavior problem.
Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the foundations of resilience and how resilience-informed approaches help adults recognize, interpret, and support youth responses to challenge, recovery, and re-engagement over time.
What you’ll learn:
- What resilience in children and adolescents actually is—and what it isn’t
- How adaptability and emotional recovery show up in youth behavior
- Why difficulty adapting is often a skill-based challenge, not a behavior problem
- Ways caregivers and educators can better understand and support resilience
- How consistency helps youth recover, re-engage, and grow
Register to gain applied insight, 1.5 free CEUs*, and a stronger framework for understanding and supporting youth resilience and wellbeing.
Presenters: Bethany Nold & Brett Ellis
PS: Can’t attend live? Register anyway, and we’ll send you the recording.
*You will receive 1.5 continuing education credits (CEUs) for each webinar you attend live. CEUs cannot be awarded for watching recordings.
