At KVC, we believe hope has the power to heal, connect and inspire us to keep going even in challenging times. In the past year, that hope turned into action — and impact that will last. KVC now reaches families across five states, ensuring care is close to home and rooted in connection.

“At KVC, we believe that hope doesn’t happen by chance. It’s built — one child, one family, one moment at a time. And together, those moments create momentum. That’s hope in motion,” shared Jason Hooper, President & CEO of KVC Health Systems.

Every fall, we release our annual Impact Report, recognize our values-driven partners and honor our Hero Award recipient. Whether you’re a family, foster or adoptive parent, donor, community partner or member of our team, because of you, KVC positively impacted the lives of nearly 85,000 children, adults and families last year.

It’s both inspiring and humbling to reflect on the incredible impact made possible by our dedicated KVC family who are the force behind this hope and healing.

During fiscal year 2025, KVC:

• Strengthened 20,992 families, helping parents create safe, loving homes.
• 929 youth safely reunited with their parents after foster care
• 4,935 children and teens were safely prevented from entering foster care because their families received expert support to overcome challenges
• Matched 441 children with forever families through adoption, bringing the total to 7,298 children placed with loving families throughout our history.
• 15,999 people received healing support through our mental health hospitals and residential programs.
