More than 550 business professionals from all over the Kansas City metro filled the Olathe Conference Center at the Embassy Suites for the 5th Annual KVC Hero Luncheon on Thursday, June 16.

The fifth annual KVC Hero Luncheon will take place June 16 at the Olathe Conference Center at the Embassy Suites in Olathe, Kan. The event raises funds for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and need heroes in the form of foster parents, financial supporters and mentors.

In 2008, Jamari Traylor was a homeless teen in Chicago. He had never played organized basketball before, but a coach named Loren Jackson came into his life and changed everything.

Thanks to the support of so many heroes, we raised a recording-breaking amount of funds to help foster families and children in need.
