On November 17, 2018, judges nationwide will open their courtrooms to help facilitate the adoption finalizations of children who have been matched with a forever family and raise awareness for the thousands of children still in need of an adoptive family.
In the U.S. there are more than 120,000 children and teens who are waiting for forever families. In November, KVC Health Systems will facilitate over 100 children’s adoptions.
For over two decades, National Adoption Month has been celebrated across the country. Many national, state and local agencies along with relative, kinship, foster and adoptive families will arrange programs, events, and activities during the month of November to raise awareness for children and youth in foster care who are waiting for permanent families.
