Planning Underway for the 2016 KVC Gala on Fire, Benefiting Children and Families

2016 KVC Gala on Fire

independentPlanning is officially underway for the 2016 KVC Health Systems Gala on Fire, an annual upscale party that combines gourmet food and drink, entertainment and a unique auction that raises funds to enhance the lives of children and families served by KVC. The June 25 issue of The Independent: Kansas City’s Journal of Society featured six women of VanBrock, a private jeweler in Leawood, Kan., who are chairing the event for the third year in a row: Bonne Illig, Kim Stevens, Debbie Douville, Lenise Ward, Ashlee Bressel and Lauren Hunt.

This year’s Gala on Fire will take place on Friday, November 18 at the Historic Firestone Building located at 2001 Grand Boulevard in Kansas City, Mo. Guests will hear glowing entertainment by Benjamin Warner and the electrifying Atlantic Express, jolt their taste buds with delicious food and enjoy flaming cocktails. Complimentary valet parking will also be provided.

Building anticipation from last year’s event, the 2016 Gala has been coined “a night that’s going to sizzle” and “an experience to warm your heart.” Gala Committee members will be finalizing event details leading up to the night of the event, and partygoers should expect a few new surprises this year.

“The women of VanBrock enjoy chairing The KVC Gala. This is a great partnership.” -Bonne Illig, Owner of VanBrock

KVC is actively seeking corporate sponsors of all levels, as well as individuals who want to donate or volunteer. The Gala benefits thousands of children and families, including many in foster care or waiting to be adopted, and many others who are receiving in-home family support to safely prevent the need for foster care.
