The KVC Institute for Health Systems Innovation today released its “Big Idea” campaign describing how public and private agencies and other stakeholders can transform foster care in America.
KVC Health Systems presented its 44th Hero Award to the Washington, D.C. Child and Family Services Agency led by Director Brenda Donald at its 2014 Annual Meeting on October 16. A partnership with KVC has helped the agency dramatically improve outcomes for children and families.
KVC’s consulting to Washington, D.C.’s child welfare agency resulted in 47% fewer children removed from their homes each month and children spending significantly less time in foster care.
