Wayne Selden, Jr. and Jamari Traylor, two former University of Kansas men’s basketball players turned pro, will headline the fundraising event on June 19.
Funds benefit children and families KVC serves with in-home family support, foster care, adoption and children’s psychiatric hospitals.
Proceeds from the 2016 KVC Gala on Fire will benefit children in foster care including those needing adoptive families.
The fifth annual KVC Hero Luncheon will take place June 16 at the Olathe Conference Center at the Embassy Suites in Olathe, Kan. The event raises funds for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and need heroes in the form of foster parents, financial supporters and mentors.
On Saturday, November 21, over 600 guests gathered at the Historic Firestone Building in downtown Kansas City, MO to raise funds for children and families served by KVC.
Proceeds benefit children in foster care including those needing an adoptive family.
Funds will benefit children and families involved in the child welfare system, including thousands of youth who have experienced abuse and neglect and are in caring KVC foster families.
KVC Health Systems will host The Gala on Fire on Friday, November 21 at the Historic Firestone Building in downtown Kansas City, Mo. to benefit more than 3,100 local children in foster care and their families that are served by KVC every day throughout the year.
